MEET THE PRESIDENTS 

Jerald D. Crickmore and Janna P. Crickmore, have seven children. They are from the Cardiff Ward, Del Mar California Stake. President Crickmore has served as Stake President, Counselor in Presidency of the Stake, Bishop, Counselor in Bishopric, Seminary Teacher, Counselor in an Elders Quorum Presidency and served as a missionary Massachusetts Boston Mission (spanish speaking). He is the owner and a lawyer in the Jerald D. Crickmore Law Firm. He was born in La Jolla, California and is the son of Donald Charles and Dora Ann Harmon Crickmore. Sister Crickmore has served as President of the Young Women in the Ward, Sunday School teacher, Nursery Leader, Cub Scout Den Leader and Sports Director for the Young Women in the Ward. She was born in Sand Diego, California and is the daughter of LeGrand Andrew and Hannah Ruth Vaughn Peterson.

OFFICE STAFF

Elder José and Sister Anna ALVARADO are the first full-time Senior Missionary couple called to the Chalco Misión while Living at Home. They live in the Porvenir Ward of the Chalco Stake. The Porvenir Ward meets in the Chapel next to the Mission Office. They are Missionary Pioneers in all they do in the Mission Office and while working with the full-time missionaries.

Elder Alvarado serves as FINANCIAL SECRETARY of the mission. He handles all bills that come into the Mission Office as well as insures each full-time missionary receives their monthly allotments. He also serves with Elder Blanco as HOUSING COORDINATOR of the mission. He helps maintain the living quarters and make each living situation comfortable for the missionaries.

Sister Alvarado serves as MATERIALS COORDINATOR and manages the inventory of teaching materials provided to the missionaries including Books of Mormon, pamphlets, pass-along cards, teaching records, report forms, etc. In addition, she works with the Mission Secretary to organize and distribute the weekly missionary "Pouch."

Elder Javier and Sister Beatrize BLANCO are a full-time Senior Missionary couple Living at Home. They are serving as volunteers in the Mission Office while they await their official missionary call expected soon. They live in the Milpa Alta Ward of the Chalco Stake. The Milpa Alta Ward meets in a Casa de Oración at the extreme west boundaries of the mission. Their dedication to missionary service is demonstrated everytime they travel by public transportation for about a hour and then walk another 20-minutes to arrive at the Mission Office.

Elder Blanco serves with Elder Alvarado as HOUSING COORDINATOR of the mission. He helps maintain the living quarters and make each living situation comfortable for the missionaries.

Sister Blanco serves as the RECORDS SECRETARY and is responsible for entering baptismal and confirmation records. She works with the Mission Secretary to insure the ordinance records are accurately transmitted to Church Headquarters. In addition, she works with the Mission Secretary to organize and distribute the weekly missionary "Pouch."

Sister Romelia ARENAS is a Senior Sister serving as volunteer in the Mission Office while she awaits her call as Service Missionary working with the Misión Chalco. She lives in the Porvenir Ward of the Chalco Stake. The Porvenir Ward meets in the Chapel next to the Mission Office. She is a Dentist and an Seminary Teacher.

Sister Arenas serves as the REFERRALS SECRETARY and is responsible for recording all contact references submitted to the mission from missionaries and members. She insures the referrals are properly recorded, searches for the proselyting area or mission to which the referral should be assigned and then sends the recorded referral to the respective missionaries by text message or forwards the referral to another mission or country.

Elder David and Sister Carolyn BIRD are the first and presently only north american Senior Missionary Couple serving in the Misión Chalco. They live within the boundaries of the Porvenir Ward of the Chalco Stake but serve throughout the mission and are not assigned to a specific Ward or Stake.

Elder Bird serves as the SENIOR MISSIONARY COORDINATOR and works with the Mission Presidents, Bishops and Stake Presidents in the Work of Salvación to find, invite and train Senior Missionaries to serve within the Misión Chalco. He also works with local and stake leaders to help them organize to allow the Senior and full-time missionaries to serve effectively with the local units to which they are assigned. He is a general purpose support to the Mission Office staff, deals with the mission computers and is currently the Blog editor and designer.

Sister Bird serves as the MISSION SECRETARY which means she is responsible for everything that goes on in the Mission Office. She also serves as MISSION RECORDER and reviews all ordinance records for accuracy and completeness before they are transmitted to the office Church records. She is also active as teacher of Keyboard and Directing classes with full-time missionaries and members from Wards across the mission.

Elder Luis Alberto ORTÍZ and Elder Eduardo CÁRDENAS are full-time missionaries currently serving in the Mission Office.

Elder Ortíz serves as theVISAS AND MIGRATION SECRETARY and insures that all visas and supporting documents are accurate and allow the non-national missionaries to serve with government support. He often travels by public transportation to the government offices in the Distrito Federal which is at least two hours in each direction. A single trip into the offices usually takes the entire day.

Elder Cárdenas is serving as EXECUTIVE SECRETARY. He and his companion often travel into the city or to the airport in support of the full-time missionaries.


MISSION OFFICE

The Mission Office is a new structure that was built when the new Misión Chalco was announced. The Office is located just west of the Porvenir and Vicente Guerrero Ward Chapel at 8 Porvenir. The Office includes an office for the Mission President, computer workstations for four missionaries, a storage area for all the missionary teaching materials and other support features.


The Mission Office is located in the area of the Chalco Stake at the north end of the Mission.
